Aurora on Model-Helicopters.Com

After visiting the importer / distributor of the Avant Aurora in the UK, I was pleased to see loads of Avant Aurora kits being picked up by customers and being sent out.
Some lucky customers had special next day saturday delivery on them, so they are going to have a nice weekend I think!
The first 30 UK kits are what I understood to have arrived with more pending. All pre sold but stocks will come to satisfy all those long waiting patient pilots.

I know a couple of pilots who have bought one, so I look forward to seeing them built and flown at club level.

Next new heli will be the Align 700 I guess.. Two very smart machines in time for a good 2008 summer flying season.

well believe it or not the aurora is finally on it's way.according to the manufacturer they have distributed the first few kits to the magazines and other reviewers.the uk will have them on the 12 may. It seems they are packing the pallets to ship to midland helicopters right now.

the thing is...................would you trust this company after all the failed promises? will the support continue for the helicopter after the initial few years? and more importantly,ANDY WILL YOU BE BUYING ONE?

We have heard a rumour that the szabos have left Avant. Surely not seeing as the Aurora is coming out soon?
Or is it?
Does any one have a solid word on the situation as of March / April 2008 ????

Any views hints or suggestions about scale bodys for the shuttle+.
I dont want to fly areobatics, just scale type flying.

I was looking on the avant forum on runryder and came across a video of what is going on down at there workshop. For all you people out there who are awaiting on of these halicopters, this may put you off from canceling your order of the aurora.

There are a mass of forums on MHC and this one is intended for everything 'Aurora'.
Currently the UK is waiting for the release of the new 90 machine.
Midland Helicopters (the uk importer) have currently got their demo model under construction.

Hope fully we can catch some shots of this machine flying soon and post them here for you.
