Hi.
yeh, thanks Rob for mentioning myself and my heli group at peatling.. And when might we have the pleasure of your company then eh??

Anyway, yes I have ran a heli group sited at peatling magna for 16 years. Actually before that it was sited on the other side of Leicester for many years, so it's been going on for maybe over 20 years in Leicester.

It is a helis only with no exception group which does work really well. Lots of guys who we could have said were beginners a few months ago, but like it is at Peatling, everybody is moving on really well.
We have guys using training undercarriage. Others who are now working on moving the heli around for the first time, right through to hard 3d, so a real cool mix.

Best thing is always to pop up for a look see and chat one weekend. check out the helis, and field and if your heli is flyable and you want, have a day flying and see how you get on..

Location.
check out a map at about 3miles to the inch or less.
Find Peatling Magna which is on the south side of Leicester, in the country. Then see that there is one country road going south from peatling Magna to Peatling Parva.
From Peatling Magna, head south towards Peatling Parva. You will find cars parked on the left of the road approx 1/4 mile from Peatling Magna.

Best times tend to be between 11am and 3pm while the nights draw in early and weather is a bit wet and cold. I am sure some of us intend to make an effort this weekend IF the weather is not too windy or raining..
