Hi.(Quote)so what happened to them then?(/Quote)They did not enter!. Were contacted by 3dm. emails to the szabos, emails to Augusto, phone call to Trevor and A visit to Midland to see trevor with concerns of their silence. The dead line was past. 3dm pilots must be told, indeed have the right to know if they are in or not. There came that time. Enough trying to get them to enter. So 20 were confirmed. Result, no Szabos entered. sad innit. why? who knows.. the szabos i guess Rather than where is the szabos, where is your icon Ady.. glad you found the final words. most haven't yet. Si |

I can too, what was that you told me mark.............not to tell anyone you've entered the masters and bribed the judges to win this year Mind you, you don't need to bribe them too win, you, along with Ade could take 1st and 2nd place, not saying who gets what though G |

somehow i think simon's storey is the closest to the truth. although it does differ slightly from the storey i have heard from the avant camp. which differers again from another reliable source. basically its one or all of the these. 1) they didnt enter 2) they said they wanted to enter but didnt get their forms in on time 3) they didnt want to enter but their sponsor wanted them to so they delayed getting the forms in so they would be refused entry. none of those are really based on any real factual evidence and are my interpretations of the storey after talking to lots of people :-) Ade |

Hi. well fact. At this end, the selection of pilots was running late. It had to be done to allow those who had sent their forms in, to know one way or the other. No entry forms had been sent in to 3dmasters, well after the deadline. They did have emails asking for them. The UK importer had and email phone call and visit by 3dm re concerns. No direct com from avant, align or zsabos came to 3dm to say they are entering and why no forms. Why, at the end of the day, should 3dm have to chase, call, beg and wait for them to enter. And why should 3dm give a place to two guys who wil not send their forms in or make a direct intention communication to 3dm. Why did they not enter? Only they know that. should 3dm have chucked two pilots out who have applied to the event, just incase the szabos feel they will confirm there entry one day? How hard is it guys. You wana enter. The entry system is simple. Some post, alot fax and some attach to email their entries. A couple even get in there car and drive it over. Those who enter have the chance of a place. Those who don't, don't. As we say around here.. How hard can it be! |
