set music is in. had a few listens and i think im gonna struggle... its just not my style. im gonna crack it tho. grrrr so off i went looking for ideas. first place i go is the masters videos. but cant find it without looking at every video... i thought there was some rule of thumb for the choice of set music? something like the masters winners own music is used for next years experts set? its "i like the way you move" by somebody i cant remember the name of at the moment. Hi Ade. Well this is one more element of 3dmasters that is my fault. When we decided to add the set music, initially Jeff had a disk of what I can only discribe as "umpar" music from germany or something. I put my foot down saying this would be unacceptable, but as I always tried to do, came up with a solution / suggestion. At the time that was the 3dmasters generate the following years set music. It was the highest flight to music score per round goes forward as the set music for the next. Naturally, there has to be a shuffle of class so that the person who previously entered with that music, did not end up with it as his set next year. Thus the highest scoring music round music in the masters class last year, "should be" the experts this year. Experts best scoring music should be for the sportsmans and the masters fly to the sportsmans best. I figured that if a person can win with a track then it has to have merrit. And if a sportsman can get the highest music score for his round, then lets see the masters fly to it etc. Motivation to adding set music was actually touched on in your comment. It is hard enough to select / compile a track to fly to. Most will attempt to select music which they like and secondly, that they can fit their flying abuilities to. BUT, the whole point of the set is that you have to fly to a set track, no matter what your style and ability is. We see it not as boring to hear a track 20 times, but interesting to see what pilots can do with the same music. How they interprite it and bring out the beat, or changes in rythm and mood. I "assume" that Jeff has not changed the music sourse for sets. Have fun with it dude. Si |

If all else fails CHEAT I tried a dancing bear to distract the judges. Maybe a stripper would do the trick. |
