The next step after the Raptor 30 was the Raptor 50 by Thunder Tiger. By stretching the boom and ajusting the gear ratio, this helicopter became more stable, more powerfull as a very successful offering on the market.| Alex | |

Hey. I can't say I have ever had a go with a knight 50 , so I would not know.I find the Raptor a bit "pitchy" in forward flight, no matter which dampers it uses. But other than that, the Raptor would take some beating I think. I personally prefer the Knights style of mechanics, being all metal and quality. I would prefer for Compass to do a Knight where all the metal parts are black anodised. Add a bit of class to the model to match the quality, instead of this cheapo bling blue. It sort of looks like it has been upgraded with Quick UK parts straight out of the box. Whats the reckoning that Compass might consider anodising it all in black one day .Si |
