Right, who's going for the new spectrum 2.4 ghz modules that are going to be available soon? They are available to fit jr and futaba radio's at an approximate cost of about £200 for the reciever and the module.no more channel clashes.I'm thinking it might be worth going for,It means you get to keep your existing radio.the only bad thing i can think of is the fact that they will be limited to 8 channels with futaba and 9 channels with jr.so if you have a pcm 10 you lose 1 channel automatically |

I have just ordered the spektrum modules jr(9 channel). The write ups are very promising and its worth spending the money to ensure safety. I am just completing a Vario Bell 230 petrol scale model and its too much investment to risk losing through someone switching on and causing a crash or injuring somebody |

Yo, I have been using the Jr module in my Pcm 9xii now for about 3 weeks, very nice technology and servo response seems quicker. Havent had any problems at all with the technology. Its Great!! BUT!!!!!!! The Design is poor the wire that comes out of the module to the ariel is connected via a brass conector and a few washers, Looks like something from your local PLUMB CENTRE. Also i have some hairline cracks around the base of the ariel. Great 2.4Ghz Technology Poor Module design Annoying wire Connector that comes loose if not thread locked Plastic ariel Cracks without lots of use NOT WORTH £199 Wait until Jr's new tranny comes out with the 2.4Ghz technology built in. Cheers Stan |

if i was you i would just sell the pcm9x11 and buy the dx7, i did and have not looked back you can also sell the servos for 50 pounds if you dont want them and it has only cost you 180 pounds then the dx7 has not as many features as the pcm9x11 but you dont need all of them anyway unless your into scale and need the extra channels alex |

yes it would seem that the module is a poor design.I have been told it won't work with a lot of the receivers as well.I won't be getting one i'm afraid.I will wait until a proper 2.4 radio is available from jr,or maybe buy a spectrum one. |
