We have been contacted by John White of Vario Uk, letting us know that we are more than welcome to bring our video along and capture all the flying at their Vario fly-in during August.

We shall attend this popular event and bring you all an inside view of all the flying and models.

We are putting this event in our MHC calender and suggest you pop along and enjoy the event too.
If any one has any past or present video footage, please consider using our "video Upload" factility, now placed on the home page.
Clearly, every one really enjoys watching the heli vids. smilie

We will remind every one of the event closer to the time.

Removal of all external references

You may notice that in the right hand forum list we had initially had two competition forums for 3dx and 3dm above the others.
We have been instructed to remove all content from our home pages re these events and all other references on the outside, links and associations.

We have made no associations or links but we did have forums with the event titles.
This have had to be moved and placed within Competitions.
So if you were following these threads, please redirect your focus to inside the competitions forum.

Removal of 3dm video footage

You may not have read the 3dmasters forum, so I must post in our main forum area so that members are aware of our current situation.

We have been advised that 3dmasters is a registered trademark and therefore we are requested to remove video footage that we took at the recent 2007 3dmasters.

We were not aware that showing such footage on our site as a non commertial venture was an infringment of such laws, and therefore we had no intent to do harm to 3dmasters or any of it's associates.

As requested content as been removed. We have not been asked to remove all forum references at this time and hope that free speach within our site can remain without further legal issues arrising.

Please understand that MHC are unable to discuss this further with members, but please accept our appologise. Both to 3dmasters for showing footage of their event without permission and to our members for removing interesting content on our site.

We wll continue to video flying events around the UK other than 3dm and 3dx, and will be sure to gain permission from these future events prior to taking the footage.

Diving in fff

I have 2 Sceadu 50 Evo's and they both exhibit the same "problem".

I adjust the trim settings to hover OK without drifting off.

Then in FFF the slowly dive and sometimes lean to one side also.

One is an HPM, the other SWM. Happens in any wind direction.

I think I have all the rod lengths correct. I'm not using the high mobility settings on the Evo head (now, actually the SWM version is an upgraded 30. I recently converted to push-pull links and it has metal seesaw / flybar carrier (non-Evo style))

I believe I have the phasing right (head to swash) and the paddles are in line with the flybar carrier.

Any ideas what caused this??

Hi everyone, Catanonia here

Fairly new to RC Heli's, got a blinged out Rex 450 SE and last week got my 1st RC Nitro, Rappy 30.

Was on RunRyder for a few months until I utter a swear word and for no reason got banned.

ggrrrr, stupid americans, they are soooo..... oh well.

Hopefully this place is a little more chilled, would love to met up with anyone near the sandbach area as I am looking for a RC Heli club to join.

Cheers all, virtual beers behind the bar for ya :)
