Hi guys Have got meself a trex 600 nitro with redline 53 engine, is it ok to fit 3 futaba 3001 servos to the swashplate or would it be better to fit align 610's as was gonna fit aligns 750 gyro/650 tail servo markb75 |

Hi. Just my opinion, but it does depend on your abilities. In other words, are you say.. learning to hover or do basic circuits, loops rolls and stall turns for example.? maybe you have not mastered nose in flight. So you won't be stressing the helicopter to any extent, therefore 3001 servos would be fine.Lets remember that there are three working together on your cyclics so they do add up to a fair amount of torque to start off with. Also you might actually find that initially if you are a beginner, that very fast digital servos give a feel to the helicopter that is little to much. Ok you can start dialing in exponential etc. seeing as 3001 servos are ballraced, reliable and cheap, i reckon you would not want for anything better for some considerable time if you are a beginner. If money is not particularly an issue, then maybe you might aswell go for the better servos and simply adjust your setup to calm everything down untill you require the kind of response and performance that such servos can offer.
